To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's handover, Taikoo Li Sanlitun in Beijing co-organised "Beijing – Hong Kong Youth Lifestyle Festival", turning the mall into a Hong Kong-themed night market in the evenings of summer 2022, featuring stalls selling popular Hong Kong snacks and souvenirs, as well as foods that combine the flavours of Hong Kong and Beijing.

In recent years, key commercial areas in Beijing have increasingly embraced the liveliness and consumption opportunities brought forth by nightlife, such as a shopping festival offering consumers new night activities held along the Liangma River in July 2022.
