Swire Properties' Chinese Mainland projects receives two awards from 2021 China Shopping-Mall Value Board

Taikoo Hui Guangzhou and Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, two landmark projects of Swire Properties in the Chinese Mainland, won the gold award and the silver award of the “highest commercial value award of the year” respectively in the 2021 China Shopping-Mall Value Board (CSVB). CSVB's organising committee evaluated the two projects in terms of international awards received, local culture integration, sustainable development and brand mix. The committee noted Swire Properties' 2019-2021 annual reports highlighted its stable development and operation strength, with its retail properties achieving stable rental income growth despite the impact of the pandemic. Taikoo Hui Guangzhou and Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu had excellent performances in occupancy rate and retail sales from 2019 and 2021, boosting the industry's confidence in the post-pandemic era.

Over the past decade, Taikoo Hui Guangzhou made outstanding achievements due to its forward-looking positioning, unremitting pursuit of high-quality service and innovative management. Jessica Huang, General Manager of Taikoo Hui Guangzhou, said, “We are honored to receive the recognition from judges and the public and win the highest commercial value award – the most prestigious award of CSVB 2021 – on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Taikoo Hui Guangzhou.”

Whereas for Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, it has become a landmark project in the southwestern region with its distinctive architectural design, the people-oriented concept of “open lanes” and promotion of a “Let's play fast & slow” lifestyle. Besides the above two projects, Taikoo Li Qiantan, ZHANGYUAN and Taikoo Li Xi'an will also become top contenders for the award in the foreseeable future.
