Swire Properties purchased the entire eighth floor of Zung Fu Industrial Building in Quarry Bay for HKD288 million, at approximately HKD17,200 per sq ft, following the compulsory sale order granted last month for the building. A Swire Properties spokesperson said that the Company is acquiring the last two units of Zung Fu Industrial Building and signed a provisional sale and purchase agreement with the owners. Upon completion of the transactions, Swire Properties will obtain full ownership of the building and will not be required to bid for the building site through compulsory sale.
