EIGHT STAR STREET show flats available for viewing

Swire Properties' residential development EIGHT STAR STREET in the Starstreet Precinct is now ready for occupation, and show flats are available for viewing for the first time.

EIGHT STAR STREET offers 37 units with sizes ranging from 431 to 1,198 sq ft. Since its launch in March last year, a total of 29 units have been sold. Among them, a unit on the 20/F with an area of 913 sq ft was sold at HKD48.5 million – the highest so far in the development.

It is also offering a 3% discount on four selected apartments in the updated price list for potential buyers until the end of January 2023. A three-bedroom en-suite apartment has also been launched for tender with a guided price of HKD48.8 million or HKD53,500 per sq ft. Adrian To, Director, Residential, Swire Properties, said that nearly 80% of the units have been sold, with sales totalling at HKD628 million, the average unit transaction price at HKD38,888 and the highest at HKD53,122.

He noted that Swire Properties also has a number of new residential projects in the pipeline, including the Wong Chuk Hang Package 4 project, as well as the Chai Wan and Queen's Road East projects. Commenting on the property market trend, To said it was normal for the market to fluctuate due to factors such as the pandemic and rate hikes. However, given the strong demand for housing in Hong Kong, the market is expected to develop healthily and steadily in the long run.
