Swire Properties is considering selling the remaining car parking spaces of Taikoo Shing Stages 1 to 9 A & B, with an estimated market cost of HKD2.36 billion, in bulk to a single non-Taikoo Shing owner. A Swire Properties spokesperson said that the Company has been offering Taikoo Shing residential owners the car parking spaces at selective stages since 2020. A total of 2,530 car parking spaces and 198 motorcycle parking spaces at Stage 1 to 9 A & B were offered for sale, out of which 1,393 of the former and 38 of the latter have been sold as of 30 June 2022. With the sale going on for 1.5 years, the Company is considering other sales options, including opening sales to non-Taikoo Shing residential owners, but currently no parking spaces from Stages 10 and 11 will be offered for sale.
