Magical Santa at Pacific Place helps bring cheers to women from emergency shelter

Swire Properties is ringing in the year-end festive spirit with a series of events across its malls. At Pacific Place, 400 beneficiaries from seven charities will be treated to free photoshoots with Santa Claus in an augmented reality set-up, as part of a collaboration with Operation Santa Claus (OSC). Charity beneficiaries will also get to climb on a sleigh for more photos, join the Reindeer Flight Academy and mix songs in the Christmas DJ booth. Mark Celenk, General Manager, Pacific Place, Swire Properties, said that Pacific Place hopes to bring joy and happiness to the community through these exciting events after years of adapting to the “new normal”. He added that by extending collaborations with the OSC beyond donations, Pacific Place hopes to create meaningful experiences for individuals and families in need.

The charities hosted by the mall are Bethune House Migrant Women’s Refuge, OIWA Ltd, The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, St James’ Settlement, WeCareBill Foundation, Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association and Love Care Station.
