EAST Hong Kong has been recommended as one of the five hotels in Hong Kong that offers sustainable staycation experience to customers. The media outlet cited EAST Hong Kong's target of reducing electricity consumption by 21% in 2025, compared to 2018, and listed its efforts in reducing water and energy consumption, as well as waste management. Other notable features include the hotel's paperless guest experience and a glass-filled interior that allows in natural sunlight. The report also mentioned the hotel restaurant FEAST as being a Green Kitchen recognised by Swire Properties. Every Christmas, the hotel uses recycled items like plastic bottles and wooden wine boxes to make festive decorations.
