The Upper House launches first Christmas tree made of 100% recycled material

The Upper House this year partners with Hong Kong local architecture firm Editecture to launch the hotel's first reusable Christmas tree made of 100% recycled materials. Made of upcycled 38,600 plastic bottles and glass, the Christmas tree is biodegradable and was constructed with the use of a 3D printer. After Christmas, the tree can be disassembled and form 21 pieces of furniture, inlcuding 1 star-shaped lamp, 5 desks, 2 lamp shades, 4 small tables, 1 big table and 8 chairs. The furniture pieces will be sold at a charity sale, with all proceeds to be donated to a charity that helps bettering the living enviornment of those living in subdivided units.
