Bloomberg reported that a real estate firm led by billionaire Stephen Ross is working with Swire Properties to develop a skyscraper in the Brickell district, Miami, Florida. The report said that the Company recently filed applications with the Federal Aviation Administration to get approval for the roughly 1,040 ft (317 m) skyscraper, dubbed One Brickell City Centre. Miami has seen a surge in office leasing since the start of the pandemic as companies increasingly target Florida for new offices. The report quoted Ross as saying that works for Florida's tallest and largest office tower in Brickell will start in 2023, and it is likely to attract tech and financial companies that are flocking to Miami, resulting in a truly world-class commercial office building.
