A fresh group of brands and restaurants has either opened in recent weeks or will be opening soon at Brickell City Centre in Miami, including a 5,000 sq ft Nike Live concept store that will open toward the end of the summer. Having been five years since its opening, the mixed-use Brickell City Complex is now 98% occupied after overcoming some growing pains and challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Martin, Vice President, Retail, Swire Properties, said that sales at the complex rose 121% last year compared to 2019 while foot traffic was up 11%, thanks to gains attributable to the finessing in the mix of retail tenants and the waning of the pandemic. Martin suggested that the development has a great mix of customers and strong local market. He noted that the mall also draws international customers, particularly from Latin and South America. As the mall celebrates its fifth anniversary, it will continue to serve local residents and visitors from across America and abroad.
