Swire Properties has recently completed a transaction to sell a site at Fort Lauderdale in Florida. The site is said to comprise three land parcels in downtown Fort Lauderdale, which were first acquired by the Company in 2006 and 2007.

A Swire Properties spokesperson said that the sale is part of the Company's capital reallocation exercise to channel funds into other opportunities in Miami. Currently, the Company still holds three sites available for development in Miami, with a total gross floor area of 2.5 million sq ft.
