Swire Properties makes public arts a part of everyday life

A local columnist wrote that public arts in Hong Kong are within reach and noted that Swire Properties has made art accessible in everyone's daily life. A good demonstration is the open-air exhibition at Taikoo Park in Quarry Bay, which has a constant showcase of installation arts. The columnist said that she loves sitting on the “Please Be Seated” artpiece, a large-scale wooden installation that offers a comfortable space for people to sit and relax.

She added that art often exists when it is least expected. "Parade" (2020) is an artpiece by artist Julian Opie displayed in the pedestrian link between MTR Admiralty Station, Pacific Place Mall, Three Pacific Place and Starstreet Precinct. With the presence of this art piece, the pedestrian link looks like a museum wall with cartoon pedestrians resembling the real-life passersby. The columnist invites members of the public to put down their smartphones and take a look at the beautiful art surrounding us.
