Media veteran and columnist Poon Siu-kuen shared that Swire Properties has been organising "BOOKS for LOVE @ $10" since 2009, collecting and categorising donated books with the help from its Community Ambassadors and two co-organisers. Six thousand volunteers helped with the preparation this year. The charity book sale will be hosted at Taikoo Place from now until 3 July at noon to 8pm daily, with each book being sold at HKD10 to encourage the joy of reading and recycling books. In her latest blog entry, media veteran Lavender Cheung highlighted the benefit of reading and shared that she also participated by donating books in the citywide book collection drive earlier this year. She recommended those who are interested in reading to visit Taikoo Place to join the book sale that offers 300,000 quality books.
