The annual "Books for Love @ $10" charity event – co-presented by the Swire Properties Community Ambassador programme, The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong and Agency for Volunteer Service – is among many events welcoming the community back as Hong Kong slowly eases restrictions induced by COVID-19. This year's event has been extended to nine days, giving book lovers more time to sift through 300,000 books – the biggest collection gathered to date for the event. An online event will run from 16 May to 16 June 2022, while the physical sale will take place from 25 June to 3 July 2022.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the "Books for Love @ $10" programme, a special "Buy 10 for 11" offer will be available for readers. Furthermore, to promote the culture of reading, MUJI has donated 1,000 books to the sale, covering genres such as arts, business, children and youth and literature. Wu encouraged readers to buy books at the sale and "re-donate" them the following year to share the love for reading.
