Swire Properties has transformed Tong Chong Street in Quarry Bay into a Christmas garden filled with 5,000 upcycled Christmas flowers at the White Christmas Street Fair. Themed “Bloom & Beyond” and organised by participants from the Swire Properties Placemaking Academy (SPPA), the community bazaar raised money for the annual Operation Santa Claus (OSC) fundraising campaign. The Street Fair has raised more than HKD7 million for the campaign since 2013.

Chairman of Swire Properties Guy Bradley said this year’s Street Fair held special significance to the Company as it celebrated its 50th anniversary. Tim Blackburn, Chief Executive of Swire Properties, added that OSC’s work in supporting charities and NGOs aligns with the Company’s commitment and placemaking efforts to build vibrant and sustainable communities. Participating SPPA students said they valued this opportunity to serve the community and were touched seeing many happy faces at the Street Fair.
