Swire Properties acts to mitigate climate change risk

Having identified various climate resilience methods for its new and existing buildings, Swire Properties has taken early steps to augment its resilience and adaptation efforts, such as implementing improved flood and storm protection measures, glass façade inspections and smart monitoring systems. In recognition of the potential impact of climate change on asset damage and loss of life in the coming decades, many Hong Kong property companies have been taking steps to assess, manage and prepare for the impacts of climate change, especially to mitigate flood and storm risks.
