Letting the city grow naturally within a park

Chengdu is actively promoting the development of an international consumption hub. Stepping into Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, the low-rise, open-plan architectural design enhances the shopping experience. During its construction, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu took measures to preserve the tranquillity and historical charm of Daci Temple by designing "Slow Lane" and "Fast Lane" around the thousand-year-old temple. Moreover, the development included the restoration of seven historical buildings that now serve as the "new faces" of the city. Since its opening in April 2015, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu has attracted flagship stores of top domestic and international brands, leading to steady sales growth and the successful revitalisation of Chengdu's traditional downtown area. The open-plan block also provides more possibilities for further expansion of the entire business district in the surrounding area.
