In 2023, HKRI Taikoo Hui celebrates the 6th season of its signature campaign "Play Me, I'm Yours". As part of this initiative, over 60 graffiti pianos have been donated to the streets and alleys of Shanghai, aiming to integrate music into urban life. One of these pianos is located inside HKRI Taikoo Hui, becoming an attraction for music lovers who gather to freely enjoy playing music. Among these enthusiasts is the 69-year-old Piano Grandpa, a passionate musician who frequently practises here. His ultimate dream is to host a solo recital someday.
