Taikoo Place becomes prime location for companies moving out of Central

In discussing office tenant relocation trends, Winsze Chung, Assistant General Manager, Taikoo Place, said many companies have opted to move their offices from areas like Central to Taikoo Place to provide employees with a better working environment. She added that companies are taking several factors into consideration when selecting a new location, such as amenities and the general environment. With Taikoo Place’s hi-tech building design, sustainability features and human-centric amenities, the community is especially attractive to multinational corporations.

As of the first quarter of 2023, the occupancy rate at the newly completed Two Taikoo Place reached 56%, while both One Island East and One Taikoo Place achieved a high occupancy rate of 97%.

Additionally, Taikoo Place and the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation have collaborated again to put on the English musical comedy "PROJECT AFTER 6: Mou Man Tai". The production draws inspiration from the Cantonese slang "sure, no problem", encapsulating the can-do spirit hardwired into Hong Kongers. Thirty-three performers from across departments of the office community, who went through three months of training, will present the show at ArtisTree.
