This centre will specifically cater to the city’s high-net-worth customers and capture growing opportunities in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and Southeast Asian markets. As the largest market for London-based Standard Chartered, Hong Kong has witnessed strong interest from customers in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region who want to invest in the GBA through Hong Kong. Additionally, there is demand from Chinese Mainland customers who see Hong Kong as a gateway for expanding into ASEAN countries.
