Swire Properties expanding presence in Quarry Bay
Swire Properties is strengthening its presence in Quarry Bay with the expansion of three major development projects in the area, including both commercial and residential developments. The first is Two Taikoo Place, one of the largest Grade-A office towers built in recent years with a gross floor area of approximately 1 million sq ft. 56% of the space is currently leased, with rent pricing ranging from HKD50 to HKD60 psf.
Swire Properties has also acquired two industrial buildings – Zung Fu Industrial Building and Wah Ha Factory Building – which will be redeveloped into office and commercial spaces that encompass a combined gross floor area of approximately 779,000 sq ft.
In addition, the Company has collaborated with Henderson Land to redevelop a site at 16-94 Pan Hoi Street and 983-987A King’s Road. The project will involve the construction of two 28-storey buildings with a three-storey podium and a two-storey basement as well as recreational amenities. The development will span a gross floor area of approximately 368,300 sq ft for residential use and approximately 72,400 sq ft for non-residential purposes.
