Citygate Outlets and Smurfs have joined forces to celebrate the characters' 65th anniversary with the "Smurf Up Christmas" event, running from 21 November 2023 to 2 January 2024. The mall will be transformed into a Smurf Christmas village featuring six thematic zones that feature a four-metre-tall "Aurora Smurf", an eight-metre "Dynamic Lighted Christmas Tree", an immersive magical Smurf House, an interactive "Smurf Christmas Adventure", a long "Smurf Dazzling Corridor" and a seven-metre inflatable of the wizard Gargamel.

Japanese Yoshoku restaurant "Que by Rin Horiuchi" will also be converted into a Smurf restaurant, offering various themed meals. From 1 December to 27 December 2023, CLUB CG members can redeem limited-edition Smurf plushies, Venchi x BANNECKER chocolates or e-vouchers upon reaching a designated amount of spending.
