The House Collective is holding its biennial "Encounters Across Cultures" event from now until January 2024, bringing an immersive arts and culture experience to the hotels. The programme will be in collaboration with four different artists and musicians across the four hotels, creating a unified experience using technology and art. The event kicks off in Hong Kong with guitarist Tjoe performing at The Tea Room and the lobby of The Upper House until 23 October 2023, then continues with an art exhibition by music producer Vicky Fung at The Middle House in Shanghai from 30 October–13 November 2023. The third instalment will be held at Chengdu’s Temple House from 20 November–6 December 2023, with renowned erhu player and film producer Wan Pin Chu showcasing his music and sculptures, with the final stop at Beijing’s The Opposite House featuring pieces from artist Keith Lam from 14 December 2023–15 January 2024.
