Hong Kong-based French artist Polo Bourieau finds great fascination in the multifaceted nature of Chinese scholars' rocks, which serves as a profound inspiration for his artistic practice. Polo recently debuted his collection of 12 unique stone sculptures in a contemporary art exhibition titled "Urban Rocks" at Taikoo Place. He sourced rocks from around the world, such as titanium travertine, dolomite, quartzite and marble, to create stone sculptures with beautiful shapes and stories. The exhibition, presented by ArtisTree is a highlight event of Swire Properties Arts Month and will run until 9 April 2023.
