Swire Properties’ Green Performance Pledge (GPP) has seen significant growth over the past two years, expanding fivefold. Nearly 70 tenants across its Hong Kong office portfolio have joined the initiative, accounting for 44% of the occupied lettable floor space. The GPP Academy, in collaboration with the Business Environment Council, will offer quarterly engagement opportunities to enhance tenants’ sustainability capabilities, focusing on energy, water and waste reduction performance. Digitalisation will also be a key focus, with the implementation of smart solutions such as a main circuit monitoring system, digital water metres and the continued deployment of smart waste solutions.

The Company aims to have 50% of its office tenants in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland join the initiative by 2025. In the Chinese Mainland, 13 tenants across three office developments have joined the programme since its pilot in December 2022.
