Swire Properties promotes sustainable F&B operations through Green Kitchen Initiative

Swire Properties announced that 11 restaurants operated by Maxim’s Group have received the Green Kitchen awards, making it the top-ranked food and beverage group with the highest number of awards across the Company’s portfolios in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. 10 of its restaurants received the highest "Three Leaf" recognition, including THAI BASIL, wellwellwell and Uoharu at Pacific Place; Shake Shack at Citygate Outlets; and six others in the Chinese Mainland.

To date, 77 F&B outlets across the Company’s Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland portfolios have received the Green Kitchen Award. This initiative uses the comprehensive "Green Kitchen Technical Guidelines" as the basis to help F&B tenants integrate highly effective sustainability solutions into the design of their premises before operations, thereby maximising environmental performance and enhancing the wellbeing of staff.

Fiona Shiu, Director, TSSD & Facilities Management, shared that Swire Properties is committed to providing human resources and technical support to tenants in order to achieve shared sustainability goals.
